Joe Lawson - Guitar Teacher
I have been playing guitar now for seven years, since I was fourteen years old. I have learned to play both electric and acoustic guitar both from other teachers and through experience paying in bands, gigging and also recording.
At the age of sixteen I was offered a placement at Access to Music, a music college where I was able to learn more about music and further my skills as a guitarist; I left at the age of nineteen with an RSL Level 3 Combined Diploma for Music Practitioners.
I have experience in teaching music to children, teens and young adults, I am a very versatile player and prefer to teach my students the songs that they would like to learn rather than the songs they are usually made to learn. I would like my guitar lessons to be enjoyable from day one and for my students to want to learn more.
I am based in Rugby, Warwickshire and the location of where the lessons will be can either be in my own home, from the student’s home or from a studio (please note that extra fee must be paid to hire out a practise room.)
Guitar lessons available Newton, Rugby, Coventry, Market Harborough, Nuneaton, Hinckley and Kettering areas.
