Greg Koch New Signature Guitar
Greg Koch Guitars
We recently spoke to the genius guitarist (and very funny) man Greg Koch. We talked alot about his gear and this is what he said about his new signiture guitar. ‘This is my third signature model with Reverend, loaded with my signature set of Fishman Fluence Single pickups.
In the video I run every pickup position, including a trick with the tone control that blends the bridge and neck together, a sound most players never even find on their own guitars.
You’ll hear the neck pickup on its own (glorious), the four position, the middle, the two position, and the bridge, along with that second voice you get by popping the tone control before you dig into what our friend Tom Bukovac calls “the tough guy sound”.
Under the hood: Korina body, roasted maple neck, 12″ radius fingerboard, 6105 frets, locking tuners, Wilkinson bridge. The body’s a touch larger than a standard S-style, on purpose, so it sits right for a man my size.
People ask if I’m playing a ukulele. I am not. Every guitar sold through the site ships with a hard shell case, comes signed, a serial number video of your guitar filmed by me, and includes three of my orange Gristle picks.’
