Matthew is a fully qualified guitar tutor with a PGCE in secondary music with specialist instrumental tuition and qualified teacher status (QTS). He also holds a BA in Music (jazz) from Leeds Conservatoire. Matthew has 8 years of experience performing and teaching guitar to both children and adults of all abilities. He can teach on both electric guitar and acoustic guitar and in any style e.g. rock, pop, metal, blues, jazz and folk. Matthew’s lessons are tailored to suit your goals and are centred around his philosophy of creating a friendly, supportive and encouraging environment to help students reach their full potential.
