Larry Carlton - Jazz Master Lesson.

Teach your students some basic jazz progression to open up their guitar playing

Posted Under: Guitar Tab Intermediate

We recently looked at the 2-5-1 jazz progression. Here is a new one that features many of the same chords, so this should be easier for you to learn.
This progression applies chords from the major scale with 7th chords to give it a jazzy sound. So in D this will be D major 7th, B minor 7th, E minor 7th, A dominant 7th.
